Elvis Fell Flat
Overall, I must say I was disappointed in the playlist as a longtime fan, which left me wanting a lot more of AFI's greatest hits. The musician and his guitar and/or piano were the only ones on stage for the entire performance, making it disappointing to pay full concert prices. The background setting/mock TV set was just plain boring. A few of Elvis's hits early on would have helped the overall enjoyment tremendously. The opening sister act of Larkin Poe out-shined AFI with good energy, excellent vocal skills, and a great opening cover of Wade in the Water.
